Software for emergency care, built on shift.

GfMPO builds training and workflow tools for emergency departments and EMS. Every tool starts with a real situation from a shift, is reviewed with clinical educators, and keeps working where the network does not.

CPRcoach: instructor console

Live testing at a hospital

CPRcoach

Resuscitation and emergency training for teams. The instructor drives a realistic patient monitor on a second device from a tablet while the team acts as in a real event. Devices pair directly, even without Wi-Fi. In live testing at a hospital since 2026.

Sprachbrücke: nurse and patient conversation Sprachbrücke: answer buttons and pain scale for the patient

Prototype

Sprachbrücke (language bridge)

Translation at registration and triage when nurse and patient share no language. Speech recognition, translation and speech output run entirely on the device: nothing leaves the iPad, nothing is stored. With admission phrases and a tap-to-answer pain scale.

In development

CuraScan

Patient self-registration in the ED: patients enter complaints, history and medication themselves on a tablet, voice-guided and multilingual. Data flows into the hospital information system via HL7. The aim is two to four minutes less documentation per patient.

NotSan-Atlas

The regional treatment protocols for German paramedics as comparable decision trees, with a training mode. Its delta mode shows at a glance what differs in your own EMS region.

Sanibörse

Fill open EMS shifts from your own staff pool first, and from vetted members nationwide when needed. Replaces messy messenger groups, respects data protection and working-time rules, and avoids the high fees of traditional staffing agencies.

Nursing pad

A small tablet for every nurse: patient list, admission status, translation and documentation at the bedside, without walking back to the workstation.

02 — Approach

What every tool has to meet

  1. Born on shift

Every feature starts with a situation that really happens in the ambulance or the ED, and is tried there first.

  2. Clinically reviewed

Content is agreed with clinical educators and practitioners. Anything not yet approved is visibly marked as a draft.

  3. Traceable to the source

Guidelines and handbooks are cited, not copied. Every screen shows its version, every change is documented.

  4. Offline and private by design

Works without a network, processes on the device wherever possible and uses no tracking. That makes privacy, works-council and IT approval easier.

  5. Training, not treatment

Our tools support education and workflow. Diagnostic and treatment decisions stay with the clinical team.

03 — About

“I build the tools I wished I had on shift.”

Jörg Thomaszik

Founder · Paramedic

In active emergency service since 1999, now working in the central emergency department of a German hospital. GfMPO grew out of that work: resuscitation training that should feel more real, triage education that needed more practice, and admissions where language was the biggest barrier.

Development happens in close collaboration with nurse educators and clinical instructors; testing happens within the team itself.
